SENIOR FEST
gathers adults, age 50 and above, for learning,
devotions and
fellowship with the intent to reinvigorate their
physical, spiritual, social and mental
well-being. This year's fest is set for
Saturday, March 6, from 9 am to 4 pm at
King of Glory Lutheran Church, Dallas. ALOA, the
Associate of Lutheran Older
Adults, is the sponsoring agency. Tom McDermott,
described as a full time
storyteller and musician since 1992 is the
keynote speaker.
Cost for the day,
including lunch, is $25.00. For registration

supplies
with

members
to
the

Assembly
in
Amarillo.
A
shipping
container
bound
for
our
friends
in the
Evangelical
Lutheran
Church
in
Sierra
Leone
will
await
them
-
already
half
full of dehydrated
food
supplies.
The other
half
will be filled with the
medical
supplies
that
we
collect
-like
microscopes,
thermometers,
blood
pressure
cuffs,
glucometers,
scales,
bandages,
scissors,
cloth
diapers,
bar
soap
and
layettes
(no
medications
as
they
might
spoil
en
route).
And there
is
room
for
school
supplies,
carpenter
tools,
liturgical
supplies
and
two
Honda
motor
cycles.
Please,
no
LBWs,
clothes.
American
textbooks
or
anything
rusty
or broken.
