Education and Youth
The Education and Youth Committee
is responsible for two specific areas of ministry.
1. In the area of
education its responsibilities
include:
- Planning and
administering the educational ministry of the congregation.
- Determining policies.
- Selecting appropriate
volunteer staff (e.g.
Sunday School,
Vacation
Bible
School, Confirmation,
and First Communion
instruction).
2. In the area of
youth its responsibilities
include:
- Planning, coordinating, and administering the
total ministry of young people.

EDUCATION/YOUTH

Sunday School is in session. We have classes for
young children, high school youth and adults.
Thanks to the adults who have
volunteered to lead these classes. Joy's Sunday
School starting time is 9: 15 am.
Three Joy youth are meeting with Pro Appel for
confirmation instruction. During
this fall's session the class reviews the Ten
Commandments. These classes also start at 9: 15
am and will run through Sunday,
October 23. Please keep these three - Abbie
Pettett, Bradley
& Reece Simpson - together with Pro Appel in your prayers.
Would you like to purchase wrapping paper? We
have available at the Church
wrapping paper specific for an occasion and some
all purpose paper for any
occasion. If you'd like to pick up a few rolls
of the paper or a few boxes filled with rolls,
please speak with Anthony Maxwell or a member of
Joy's Ed/Youth
Committee. Yes, you may purchase the paper on
Sunday after worship!
