CONGREGATIONAL MEETING - The first of two constitutionally mandated
congregational meetings occurred on Sunday, January 31. (The second
meeting will be scheduled for a June Sunday.) At the January meeting the
congregation approved a nominating committee consisting of Sue Steffen, Jim
Randolph, Bob Maxwell and Jim Haynes.
A budget was adopted for 2010. This budget shows anticipated offerings &
rental income of 125,395 and projected expenses of this same amount. This is a
17% decrease from the 2009 budget. (A complete copy of the 2010 budget is
available at the church for those interested.)

Sharon Appel has volunteered to attend the 2010 Synod Assembly in Amarillo as
Joy's LAY VOTING MEMBER. The Assembly is set for April 23-25. Thank
